Bye. Ward. Now.
A letter worthy of note from Spring City's Dianne Beha in today's TFP...
Please help me to understand how state Sen. Ward Crutchfield can admit to an illegal act while "employed" by the people of Tennessee and be able to choose when he is ready to leave office!Any person employed by a private firm would be escorted out of the building by security immediately, with no questions asked.
It is time that our elected officials began to be treated like any ordinary citizen and not be able to manipulate the circumstances surrounding their acts. We as a people are being subjected to all this nonsense daily, and unfortunately we are doing nothing about it.
But then again, what can we do but wait until election day, aanh hope that we don't get too bombarded by the results of this egomaniacal behavior of our present elected officials.
Wanna get mad really fast? Ask yourself, "How many times did Mr. Crutchfield -- and others -- do this sort of thing and get away with it?"
Once you've lost the public's trust. Nothing else you've done really matters, does it?
